These original geometric illustrations show visual directions. They are not model outputs or proof of generation quality.

From a thought
to something you can see.

Open your workspace
  1. Describe what you have in mind

Start with a scene, a subject, or a change. Add up to four reference images when you want a starting point.

  2. Give it the right shape

Choose from five aspect ratios and three resolution tiers. A current credit quote comes before a real submission.

  3. Keep it, or keep creating

Once original outputs are verified, download your image or use it as a reference for a new, separate task.

Is this an official Google product?

No. Nano Banana 2.1 AI is an independent image tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

What is Nano Banana 2.1?

Nano Banana 2.1 is the image model proposed for this tool. Image generation is not open yet; these illustrations are not generated model results.

Can I create an image or edit one I already have?

The candidate supports a description alone or a description with reference images. Add your own images and describe the change you want. Each submission produces one image after generation is enabled.

Which reference images can I use?

The candidate accepts up to four JPG, PNG or WebP images: 10 MB per file, 30 MB combined. Choose images you have permission to upload and use. Browser previews stay on your device before sign-in and submission.

What do 1K, 2K and 4K mean?

They are output-resolution tiers. Actual width and height depend on the selected ratio, so 4K does not promise a fixed square image. Full-resolution output and each tier require original-image acceptance before release.

How many credits does an image use?

A task uses a server-quoted cost based on its selected tier. Final task rates and credit packs are not available yet. You will see the current quote before a real submission; this preview does not charge credits.

What happens when a generation fails or needs checking?

A confirmed failed task releases its credit hold through the ledger. An uncertain result stays in review so that the same request is not blindly sent again. A credit release is shown only after it is confirmed.

Can I download the original image?

The intended workflow includes owner-authorized original-image downloads after the original bytes are saved and checked. There are no verified model outputs to download in this preview.

How long will images and drafts stay available?

Proposed retention is seven days for reference files and 30 days for outputs. Local drafts expire after 24 hours. These periods are candidate settings awaiting approval; deletion and retention will be explained before real use.

Can I use images commercially?

Output suitability and rights depend on the input, applicable terms and intended use. Do not upload material without permission. This preview makes no blanket commercial-use or ownership guarantee.
